Wessex Ridgeway 100k Relay
Safety Notes
Follow the Wessex Wyvern, a GREEN DRAGON on a white disc. The entrances to many of the car parks have been narrowed to deter travellers so beware.
The entrance to Batcombe Down car park has moved so give time to get to the changeover.
Be careful at the roads, especially Breakheart Hill, the A37, where the incoming runner will hand the baton to the marshal on the East side of the road and the outgoing will receive a new baton on the West side of the road.
Sheepwash Lane (Courtfield Farm) and Venn Chapel have limited parking, so do not tarry there.
The road at Penn Farm, the A35 is very dangerous, please obey the marshals.
There are shower facilities at the end until 7.00pm and a free meal is provided at the Talbot Arms. A meal ticket will be handed out to all competitors
at the start; but back up crew can buy a meal ticket for £4.50.
